Google Browser Size

Google Browser Size is a new feature for visualizing browser window sizes of people who visit a webpage.

Google Browser Size is a very useful tool while creating a new website. This is helpful for ensuring that all important parts of user interface are visible to wide audience.

When you first visit Google Browser Size site, you can see a example webpage wherein the "donate now" button falls within the 80% contour, which means that 20% of the users cannot see this button when they first visit the page. 20% of users is a big number; knowing this fact would encourage the designers to move the button much higher in the page so it can be seen without scrolling.

Here "90%" contour means that 90% of people visiting a webpage have their browser window open to at least this size or larger & 80% contour means 80% people have their browser window open to this size, and so on.

To view your own website with this visualization, simply type its URL into the "Enter URL here" textbox in http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/ and click Go.
